She's still up!

Phew

that was a mammoth few day but my class LO that I'm teaching a ScrapaGoGo's GoGo Back to School is finished, instructions and hand out for student written and how safely in Lorraine and Janices hands. I also uploaded my finished October creation that I'm very happy with so the pressure's off and I can relax. Well until tomorrow when I need to get myself organized for Wyverstones annual MacMillian charity crop, I have to get myself organized or I'll get nothing done and be very frustrated.

I'm head off for an early night as I've been burning the candle at both ends for the last few days.

Sometimes life's really unfair

and when it touches your own life or someone you're close to it hurts. I just learnt that my very dear friend's mum who recently had a brain tumor removed now needs chemotherapy. It's obviously really rocked there world and I really feel for them but feel completely helpless. Now I'm not a praying kind of gal but if you read my blog and would be kind enough to say a pray for Lora it certainly couldn't do any harm.

On a more upbeat note I'm feeling pretty chuffed with myself. I've finished off my DT LO, scanned and stitched it so it'll only need a little tweaking before unload it tomorrow plus I finally got printed out the photo I need to finish off my other scrapbooking project. Best of all I cleared all the ironing, what a result.

My weekend

On Saturday Peter, Joshua and Matthew were on a mission to visit the sick - not us, those celebrating the big 50 - definitely not Jon or I and little old us. Matthew bowled in clutching a bunch of flowers and announcing they were for me, chuffed I was but better things were to follow namely 7, yes count them 7 kisses!

They stopped for a little lunch, Chinese 'take away' that they brought with them and shared, very yummy and as it was only a little portion I'm sure not too bad. Plus we were able to enjoy a laugh and a play in the garden before they had to go. Matthew particularly loved the swing boat and Joshua was fascinated with my pin cushion and now I have a beautifully colour organized pin cushion.

Later Hannah cleared her homework and then enjoyed Strictly Come Dancing and the last of the X Factor auditions. Jon bug out his favourite guitar and had a jamming session for one and me I got to play with pretty papers and glue.

Sunday was a bit of a re - run of Saturday minus the visitors. Although Hannah and I managed to get our jobs done and for me that included getting inspired to create my ScrapaGoGo DT October LO, I have a more urgent project to finish but I just needed a break, you know how it is sometimes - don't you?

Sunday Movie Night movie was Wedding Date. An easy watch film but nothing special.

And that was the end of another weekend.

Photo Overload

Firstly Hannah looked gorgeous yesterday evening but then I'm bound to say that I'm her mum. Unlike her first disco for under age teenagers she had a great time.

   

It's amazing what you find on your memory card when you haven't download for ages, love these photos of Joshua coming down one of those gravity defying slides.

Well and truely

cheesed off with Paypal. For reasons I cannot even begin to comprehend I can't access my account. Now you might say 'patience Eileen' and I would have to say 'I HAVE BEEN for over a week'. I tried a telephone number but I got an automated service which was as useful as a chocolate teapot as they say. So my only hope is to try again tomorrow when hopefull a real live person will be able to solve the mystery and I will once more be a happy bunny.

In other news Hannah, Gracia and their friend had a good time, came home tired and are now safely tucked up in bed sleeping.

So I think it's time for me to say night, night.

I keep trying

but I'm just not being very successful at getting round to blogging. I have no idea where the time goes but it's OK the things that have to be done get done and everything else takes pot luck.

 

I've been doing some scrapbooking for Scrapagogo, September's kit was gorgeous but October's kit is absolutely fab. Perhaps I should shared some of my recent GoGo LOs, starting with July and August and then in a few days I'll be able to show you my September creations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Talking of Scrapagogo have you seen the latest event that Lorraine and Janice have organised? All the details can be found here but basically it's a full day of scrapping classes for the bargin price of £45.

 

Hannah's off to a disco tonight, so she's in the throws of getting ready, she's a little pushed for time as she's only got 2.5 hours before she get pick up. I'm doing the pick up later and for some reason probably temporary insanity or just an extra nice mum I agreed to a sleep over. I'll get some picture before she goes, she won't be impressed but I am doing some ironing for her - seems fair to me.

 

I was doing so well.

Then I went on holiday and clean forgot about blogging.

I'm really tired this evening so I'm gonna get an early night and I'll do a catch tomorrow, promise :).
