About Me

My name is Eileen Webdale and I’m mum to Hannah who’s 14 yr old and wife to Jon who I’ve been married to for 20yrs, oh yes I’m a scrapbooker.

This is my blog and I'm planning on posting whatever takes my fancy, maybe share some of the going ons in my life, my scrapbooking and definitely the highs and lows of finally shedding the excess weight that I've been carting around for oh only the last 15yrs or so.
I'd like to think that I'll blog a bit ever day but that probably won't happen but I'll try.

In a previous life I used to nurse (I'm a trained sick children’s nurse) but gave up nursing in 2005 after becoming ever disillusioned with the direction the NHS was/is going. I have to say that although I miss the hands on caring and the friendship of my colleague many of who I've know for a long time I don't miss it. Oh yes and I miss the money too.

Nowadays I help my sister who runs her own business as well as trying to keeping up with her 2 gorgeous boys so that keeps me out of mischief.

Did I mention that I’m a scrapbooker? I probably spend too much time and money on this particularly addition but hey I’m not bankrupted us yet.
